Most Push-Ups in an Hour with 60lbs - Guinness Book of Records
The most push-ups completed in one hour while carrying a 60-pound (27.2 kg) weighted pack on the back, as ratified by the Guinness World Record, measures both muscular endurance and the ability to maintain strict push-up form under significant additional load, making it one of the toughest upper-body strength endurance records.
- 847 - Rohtash Chaudhary, known as the “Push-up Man of India,” set the latest Guinness World Record by completing an incredible 847 push-ups in one hour with a 60 lb weight on his back. He achieved this feat at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Correct Technique
The assessors at the Guinness World Record requires that record setters perform the push-up with a specific technique, which is essentially what we describe as a standard push-up. Participants must keep the body straight throughout (i.e. no bending at the knees or waist), and the body must be lowered until at least a 90-degree angle is attained at the elbows. The body is then raised until the arms are straight, although the elbows do not need to be locked.
